Our Vision: A community that ensures environmental sustainability, the protection of water resources for us and future generations and the rights of democratic community self-government. Term limits are key for new people to become leaders who do not support LNG. That is why STW has endorsed Citizen Initiative 8 – Ending the Term Limit Loophole.

Petitions are being printed

Tacoma City Attorney Elizabeth Pauli has sent Save Tacoma Water a letter allowing for the petitions to be printed. The letter in part states, “The materials submitted meet the requirements for a sufficient petition pursuant to state law, and therefore are approved to form.”

Petition sheets will be available at our petition drive kick off party on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 6:00 PM.

We are co-hosting an event with 15Now at First United Methodist Church, 621 Tacoma Ave S.

We need everyone’s help as we have just 10 weeks to collect 9,000 signatures – we need 5,559 valid signatures from Tacoma voters to place this on the Nov. 8, 2016 ballot.
